Not my favorite purchase. Feels unsteady on carpet as it wobbles a fair amount, but I think its secure. If you have a child that will not like the movement on their bed / you should skip this purchase. My husband (contractor) said it took a fair amount of time to assemble (and disassemble). We are no longer using the bed because my daughter wouldnt sleep in it. Im so unhappy with this product.
