This appears to be a good buy. I can say that its a good bed for a tween and/or teen.
I bought it for my adult son, who needed the realestate under it, has too many gadgets for the size of his room. As you can imagine it is a bit more difficult for a grown man to maneuver the ladder than it would be for a youngster. All in all, if you follow the directions and Remember to check the screws after a week or 2 of use (may need to be re-tightened.), its a good choice for the price.
