I was wondering whether this would be sturdy enough for the 160-pound, twenty-five year old guy who is using it, and it is. It shakes a bit when he rolls over, but thats because we didnt anchor it to the wall (we have just the bed, not the desk underneath). The metal seems sturdy enough -- weve been using it a month now and nothing has bent or bowed. The bright white finish looks great. Assembled by one person. Took a few hours, but it wasnt overly challenging. Very pleased.
