Took awhile to build, but I am 6ft tall and 200lbs solid. It supports me just fine, I wouldnt recommend building the entire bed on the floor and flipping it upright, as it might not clear the ceiling. When almost done with more than half the bed, be sure to flip upright and finish assembling.
But it is an awesome bed and I can sit underneath and watch tv perfectly.
