Its definitely shorter than I imagined. I would recommend putting something underneath it. just to have that extra height. It was fairly simple to assemble. Im 17, 52 and I managed. No tools needed either so if you were worried about that dont be lol! It does seem wobbly though. Kinda worried my tv might just fall through it thats the only downside lol
