I wanted to give my two guinea pigs the option of going up and down. I did lots of research. I liked the stair like ramps. It is a rabbit cage so I had to change it around so that my piggies didnt get there feet stuck. So I took one of the holes grates at the bottom out. Its the corner with the tray on top a great place for them to hide. They even like to go under the other side grate. The ramp side needed the grate so I put some fake grass a piece of a potty tray for dogs. I also bought a small replacement tray for dog cage which could also work. My piggies love it they go up and down. It gives them a spacious spot where they can take a break from each other.
I did not buy this product off . sells this product from the company but I found it cheaper on the company website.
It was so easy to put together. No screws or or tools.
My only complaint the ramps do not clip in they can easily be bumped off. It makes it easier to remove for cleaning but if my piggies hit them sometimes they fall off. The way I have changed it will probably make it harder to clean but In not worried since my piggies are happy.
