Bought this for my sons transition from toddler bed to big boy bed! It’s not too high that I’m scared of him falling off and it’s such good quality! I put it together myself so it took a few hours but easy assembly and so glad we did it!
I assembled this in about 4 hours by myself but I was also watching Netflix…so it probably should have taken less time. The height is great and my 5 year old loves his new bed. It’s a little wobbly if you give it a jolt…I might end up attaching some crossbars across the legs. Otherwise, great bed, I’ve even slept in it with my son when he was sick and it didn’t collapse!
I had a few assembly hang ups, so I’ll try to help you out in case you face the same issues.
On page 8, you need to attach piece 10 (the side safety bars) to the bed using wooden dowels. This proved to be impossible if you don’t loosen the headboard piece first. After I loosened all of those screws from the headboard, then I could easily attach the 10 pieces and then retighten the screws to the headboard.
Page 11, you need to roll out and attach the mattress support. You need to line the holes up PERFECTLY. My suggestion is to very loosely screw in all the screws before tightening them. Even then, it was tough so I don’t know if the screw holes were a little off, or if I was. Either way, this was frustrating.
The rest of the assembly was pretty easy.
It would have been MUCH easier with two people, but I don’t need no man! Also, after the fact, I see the website suggests power tools. Normally DIY furniture discourages power tools because you may over tighten or strip the screws. I would have loved to use power tools, so if you have them, definitely use them.
My daughter loves this bed for her room which is on the small size.We were hoping to put her storage dresser under to free up space around but now she loves to sleep on the bottom and save the top for sleepovers. We bought the full size. I tried to assemble myself, but definitely needed a friend mostly for support because I was getting so frustrated. Not all screws went in flush but we managed to get it to a point where it was very sturdy. We added a few more nails just in case.
I absolutely love this bed! It’s very sturdy for the most part the bed rail to protect the child from falling out is a bit wobbly but nothing crazy where I feel nervous my child will fall out. It’s lower than I expected which worked out fine for me and my daughters room. The slide is very speedy but I added a ball pit at the bottom to cushion the fall. It took about 2 hours to assemble. My daughters father said the instructions were pretty simple to follow. The latter is sturdy as well.
Toddler loves it! I was able to fit a soft queen mattress under for him to start sleeping on until he is old enough for the top bunk but during the day he loves using the slide, the steps and goes on the top bunk to read. Easy to assemble! I did it myself in two hours- it helps to identify and lay all screws out first. Overall very pleased with the bed and how unique it is. It does have a strong chemical smell- paint and wood? so I ran a purifier for a few days before letting my child sleep there.

Great and Well Priced
Was a little time consuming to assemble. But for the price this item is sturdy and well made. Very nice looking as well.
