The futon part is a little stiff to move at first but gets easier with use. With a thick enough mattress, the bars cant be felt. My 17-year-old son loves it!
So far my kids have been using it for 3 months and it seems durable, roomy, and most of all my 8yr old and 4 yr old love it and sleep comfortably in it.
Fine for my middle-schooler but the bars on the ladder are horribly painful. Also not as steady as youd want a loft bed. Should have gone with homemade.
The rod of steps(ladders) are so narrow and uncomfortable and cause pain in their feet when kids climb up.We use swimming noddle foam to cover but It did not last long.The manufacture must use wider rods for steps.also the body of bed is very shaky ,I am worried the beds fall apart when kids climb up and down.
The height of bed is good so my 10 year- old son can sit on his lower bed without hitting his head to the upper bed
This is a great bed for maximizing space in a room. My kids love them. I put it together myself, and it wasnt complicated, just took a little bit of time.
Gotta say I was impressed. I set my standards low thinking it was not going to be good quality . And it was great.. the 8inch makes a difference very comfortable and looks great

Very sterdy and easy to assemble, word of advice make sure your ceiling is high. It will make you live easier when assembling!
