Im a petite, 23 y/o living in NYC and needed some more space for a smaller sized room. It is sturdy but just a tad wobbly; nothing major. The ladder is very thin so its a little inconvenient getting in and out of the bed. Construction took a couple of hours with one other person. It serves its purpose for opening up space in my room. I would recommend more for a small teen or child.

I brought this bed for my 11 year old daughter. She loves it. She did complain that the ladder hurts her feet. I took the advice of another reviewer and used pool noodles to cover the steps. Works great.

Bought this for my 14 yr old granddaughter. Easy assembly w two people. Solid and sturdy. She loves the combo futon and upper bunk.
